Beatrice Devereux was born in Deepwater Missouri. her father Thomas Devereux was born in Ireland. County Carlow. he came to America in 1864. going first to Mauch Chunk ( Jim Thorpe ) Carbon County, Pennsylvania. he met and maried Margaret Callen. she was born in County Carlow, Ireland. her family came to America in 1850 ( July ) abord the " Star of The WEst ) her father Peter and mother Jane. along with siblings. also Jane's younger sister accompanied them. Catharine Morgan. age 18 at time of voyage. they settled in Mauch Chunk ( Jim Thorpe ) Carbon county, PA. Margaret's brothers where minners and introduced Thomas Devereux to thier sister. they where maried in 1873 or 1875. in Carbon County. moving shortly into New York. then in 1880 into Canada. just outside Montreal. in 1882 they returned to New York. and from thier moved to Missouri/Kansas in Kansas City. Beatrice Devereux's siblings are, Julia Devereux who maried arthur Walden. Josephine Devereux who maried Hendricks then divorced him and maried Rasmussen. Beatrice had other siblings as well. 1 lived in california, 1 lived in colorado. that is all i have off the top of my head. using friends comp. while mine is being upgraded. i'll resend when i have mine returned. hope this helped some.
