Since Hosea was in Smith Co, TX as late as 1920, you might check the Smith Co, TX GenWeb site. Some GenWeb counties are putting their cemeteries online. You might find him, and other family members, buried there. Post your query on that site (with the dates you have), someone may recognize the family.

If you found the family on the 1900 census, it asks for month and year of birth of everyone in the family, that will help with some of the family.
