Since you know when and where Minalena died, you can obtain a copy of her death certificate which should show the names of both of her parents.

Did Minalena come into this country through the port of Galveston, TX. You might check the Galveston Co, TX GenWeb site, they may something on their site about immigration and ship passenger lists. If not, there's probably something on the site regarding the Galveston Library and they have book/books on Galveston passenger lists etc. Happy Hunting.
