I checked your message history and see you have the names of Emma's children. You might want to post a query with those names and any dates, or approximate dates, of their births. And, names of spouses, if you know them.

I would post that query on the Upshur Co, TX GenForum site, and the Upshur Co, TX GenWeb site. Her descendants may be searching, too, and getting your query on as many sites as possible might help. Also, the Johnson forum, too.

Be sure to include the names of counties in your query, and any names that are to the unusal side, such as middle name of Bullard. It may be a family surname up the family tree. People on common surname sites will do "search this site" and could enter such as Upshur (county), or Bullard. On the Johnson forum there is someone researching a couple named Johnson and Bullard. Pretty early, but it may be a family name handed down a generation or two.

Have you visited the Clayton Library there in Houston to see what they might have? Happy Hunting.
