Do you know when and where Edna died? You can obtain a copy of her death certificate, which should show the names and birth locations of her parents.

Also, the new 56 CD set for the 1880 census includes an EVERYNAME index, which means you can search for wife, children, or anyone living in the household. You could look for Edna when she would be about 3 years old, and still living with her parents. If you do not have access to that set, there are people on this forum who have their own set, and will do lookups. Just post your query with something in the subject box that will catch their eye, such as "Need 1880 census lookup." Happy Hunting.
