I am trying to find info on William C. Hall, who lived in McKinney, and married Elizabeth Patterson in 1853. I do not know where he was from or who their children were. He was a deputy sheriff who died during a shoot out in 1869. I have excerts from 2 books "Pioneering in N. Texas" and " Murder at the Corners" where I received this information. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. I live in New Jersey and have found nothing anywhere. The pioneering book also states that her parents were Peter's Coloists who came to settle in Collin County between 1845-1848 and there names were also William and Elizabeth Ann. These two had Elizabeth, who married William C. Hall, H.G., a son born in 1938, M.J., a daughter born in 1842, William C.(Cull)born in 1844, and Mary Ann, born in 1846 and who married John A. Gibson. Anothe son, Andrew Jackson, was born in 1849 and his mother died soon after.I hope someone can help.
