Searching for any information regarding Nancy WALKER. 1880 census, Houston Co., Fodice or Fodias, TX, show that Nancy WALKER, d.o.b 1857(age 23) was born in Mississippi, unknown county. It is believed that Nancy was a slave, sold to a plantation in Houston Co., Lovelady, TX. Nancy WALKER had 13 children by Lazaurs HOLLEY or HOLLY, d.o.b 1850, mulatto, from Alabama.
Laz's father, slave owner, Albert HOLLEY, d.o.b 1828, migrated to Houston, Co., Pennington, Tx, shown on 1860 Census from Alabama. He brought 137 slaves with him to Texas.
Nancy also had a sister, Darcus or Dorcus WALKER. Darcus was sold to a plantation in Fairfield, TX. Researching other surnames BERRY, WOOTEN, TERRY, MILLS, and ONEIL. Please contact me asap if you have any information.
Any information that you have to help fill in the blanks is needed. Email me at rainetiffany@hotmail.com
Thank you,
Tiffany
