Body of Message:

Dear Cheri,
I am ,also, the great grandaughter of Elias Sydney.
I am Dorothy Jean williams Brown.
Elias was married to Elizabeth Isabella Tyson and had 6 children.( She was born: Jan.3rd.,1844/died: Feb.12th., 1923)
My grandfather, Wilson Clark, Melton, Floyd, Robert, Delia and Fannie.
I met all of them and knew Melton and Delia.

I have been to the graves in the Beauregard cemetary, in Hazehurst, and gotten some dates off of the graves and I have pictures for proof.
At one time I was doing research and traced them back to Alabama and was stopped there. I never could find their names in Eliis Island.
I will be glad to share what I have.
At one time there was a page on the internet, by Robert Williams , a cousin..
I haven't found it again, but you can look for it.

We have a web page on msn.com. It is called the Williams girls community. You are welcome there.

I am 66yrs. old and the daughter of Adow williams( d/c). I grew up in the panhandle of Texas but went to La. every year to visit family.
Wilson( called Pat) had 10 children by his first wife. Laura Elizabeth Garrett, and two by his second wife, Brazzie. My father, Adow, was part of the first family.

I have your grandfathr born in 1872( no month) and died in 1961. I have your grandmother, Gussie, born in 1890 and died in 1962. Is this correct?
I remember dady talking about Floyd and Gussie.

Feel free to e-mail me.
Dorothy
