Have you checked the Hamilton Co, TX GenWeb site? Ray Weathers is the webmaster, and his wife Elreeta has a gazeteer that will blow you away. She is constantly adding to it. I found a brief story about my gr gr grdfthr none of my family had ever heard before -- he shot and killed a man in his general store.
The last time I looked at the site, it was still under some construction. Be sure to read that first paragraph, and click on the word he shows to take you to the "other" part of the site. I think the word is "this". That will get you to the good stuff. Even the local weekly newspaper is online, with current obits etc.
