Lewis family/middle Georgia connection

This is a long shot, but here goes. My grgrandmother was Sarah Alice Lewis. Her mother's maiden name was Milly Anne Woods. Supposedly, the Lewises had originally come from Texas. Sarah Alice's family lived in Laurens County, Georgia. She married my greatgrandfather, William J. Mullis, in about 1888. She died in 1929. If there's anyone out there who may know something, I'd appreciate any info or suggestions you may have. Thanks!
