I am seeking information about my great-grandfather Felter C. Jones. He was born Oct. 19, 1876, and died July 24, 1946 in Zavalla Tx. His 1st wife was Allie. Their union produced at least two sons, and a daughter: Van B. Jones b:1904 d:1984, Travis, and Stella. Felter would marry a second time to a woman named Emma, they would have two daughters: Opal and Claudie Mae.
I have been told that all the above people may have been born in Zavalla, but I have my doubts. I do know for a fact that they did indeed die in Zavalla.
I have run into a brick wall on my dads side of the family. Any information or help that anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.
