You talk about your great grandfather and your grandfather, is that one in the same man? In searaching name of Jimenez, I do not find any Seveero, but do find birth records with a father named Severo (one in Bee Co, TX), and 2 dth records for men named Severo Jimenez. And, I suspicion that birth year is 1900(?) Do you have a middle name/initial for Severo? And, do you know when and where he died? Even approximate date would help.
