Thanks so much for the reply. According to a letter my father received in 1944 from J. P. Atkinson, he had sons named Doyle(Lived in North Carolina), Prentice(oldest son) and Leo(lived in Lake Jackson). He had daughters named Geneva(lived in California), Margaret, and Bernice. J. P. lived at 806 E. Main St. in Goosecreek. Do you think this is the same family?
