Family legend has it that my father and I(I'm Jr.) were named after an Allen Blacker who was a circuit court judge in the general area of West Texas in the second half of the 1800s. He's supposed to have signed the papers of incorporation of El Paso and received, as a reward, his name on the Blacker Street near what is now the UTEP main campus.
Anyone here know about da Judge?
