I read you message again and found I overlooked your comment that "Charlie died at about 50 years of age." Makes a big difference when you know he wasn't alive during the period of the Death Index. I will write Austin and find out exactly where and when Charlie died. It probably will take about 10 days because of the holiday. Just disregard what I said about Charlie D. and Charlie J. with regard to the Death Index. Charlie D. should appear as the father in the Birth Indexes unless he married very young. Will let you know what I find concerning his death.
