There is a Galena Cemetery in Smith Co, TX, near the Van Zandt Co. line.

There is a town of Galena Park (pop. 10,000+) in Harris Co, TX, east of Houston. They should have a local cemetery, or one nearby the locals use. Try the Harris Co, TX GenWeb site, many GenWeb counties are putting their local cemeteries online. Post your query on that site, too. Never know some other descendants may also be working on this line.

Also, look for information on the Clayton Library in Houston, they may have their own web site - I'm sure there will be something on the Harris Co, TX GenWeb site regarding this large genealogy library. Clayton should have information on cemeteries etc.

Try the GNIS site, type in Galena Park, click on drop down state option "Texas", click on drop down location option "populated place". Click on send query. Then click on "show feature location". The map will give you an idea of where Galena Park is located.
