hello shaker don't know if you know, but my great great etc. uncle rode with bloody bill andersen.his name was jim cummins.[windy jim] and rode with jesse james.his sister married bob ford who shot jesse james.trying to get more info on jim.i just started researching this stuff.tell you something shaker that my father told me.when my father was a boy of 12 making it 1929 he would go to his uncles house who was called pop wish i knew his given name but any way he would tell my dad stories of how jesse would come over for dinner.and told my dad that what they buried was a log and that jesse lived to be a ripe old age and died in thing of it is it fits.windy jim and bloody bill and jesse all rode together.and jim's sister married bob ford who supposedly shot jesse.something to think about.there is a book by my great uncle etc. windy jim called the jim cummins story.i haven't sent for my copy yet.but you will find it on net at a book store called the blue and the might find some info there.
