Have you tried the Hamilton Co, TX GenWeb site? The webmaster and his wife do a great job. Check out information they offer, then post a query, too. You might give dates, or approximate dates, your people were in Hamilton Co. I believe there is a hyperlink from that site to one for Hamilton Co, TX Gen. Soc. They have their own library, very nice, and they may be able to help you, too. Very friendly folk, down there.
