make take a few days for her to get back to you. If you dont her from her I will try to find out info for you. SHe has the Karanka(sp??) Quarterlies. They are about our county.

There is extensive research about Calhoun Co. in them. If she doesn't know anything she will be able to refer you to someone that does.

If you go to Texas Handbook online you might be able to find some info there. There is also a site that tells how to get to historic sites but I can't remember how to get to it.
