Marion and Minnie also had a child in Shelby County, Texas on 16 Jun 1930. This child was unnamed which usually means a stillborn or child that lived only a short time. May well have been Donald Gann that you have 1929-1930 and your grandfather heard his father refer to him by name. Source: Texas Birth Index Online 1926-1949

Once you know when and where your G Grandfather died, you could order a death certificate which has a place for the parents names, state of parents birth, the deceased's dob, where he died, and funeral home/undertaker handing the burial. Often the cemetery is also shown.

Once you know when and where your GGrandfather was born, you can go to the the census for the period before his birth and the two periods after his birth and find all the children's names (assuming he ws born after 1850).
