Thank you also for the good advice and this is a real thought, since on her daughters ss. application it showed her as a Jamamia McMahahon instead of Jemima or McMahan, but we do know now that she was definate a McMahan with an A.
Since I can not find her on any list or census, other than the two we have, how do I go about verifying her death date that I have and /or birthdate?
No one in the family knew anything about her except the name since she died when her youngest was about 11yrs old and now all of her children are dead as well. If I can get our grandma's marriage Lc, then would it possibly show her parents on it? I am at a loss on this one. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
