Yup, narrowed it a whole bunch. Leslie's death certificate should show the names of both of his parents, and their birth locations. Have you looked up Arknasas on the 1900 census? Leslie would have been 13 and probably still at home. Beginning with the 1880 census, the birth location of the parents of everyone in the household is given. The 1900 census asks some very helpful questions for researchers, and a couple that are not asked on any other census. The month and year of birth of everyone in the household is one.
