Janey, I am descended from Amos Monroe Eaves, born abt 1828 in N.C. His son, Joseph Thomas Eaves was my grand father. Joseph was a circuit riding Methodist Minister who died in 1920 and is buried in Willow, Okla. He was married to Cordealy Katherine Clements. who died on 13 July 1902 and is buried in the Cuthand Cemetery. One of their offsprings was Virgil Neuman Eaves whose death record, obituary and grave location was so graciously provided by you on 10 July 2000. There is at least one family of Eaves still living in Red River County as well as others in nearby Bowie County. Wish I could be of more help.
