R.S. PURDY, TX Ranger, Founder Purdy, OK

I'm hope I can get some help here...

I'm looking for any information about R.S. Purdy (All the name I know). Served in the Texas Rangers 7/30/1874, Company B, Frontier Batallion, Lost Valley, MI.

From what I can tell there are at least 2 daughters of R.S., Maud and Alice. Maud married Tom Smith my GGGF, somewhere either in Texas, or most likely Purdy, OK. Any and all information is greatly appreciated.
