Thank you for your reply. I have checked the 1900 Census for all of Cook Co Texas and found lots of Haney's but not mine. I have also posted to the Cooke Co. Web page as well as the e-mail list. Of course the 1890 census was destroyed which is the one that I need. I have been pounding away at this brick wall for years with no results, so now I am posting as many bords as I can. Thank you though.
