1860 Limestone Co. TX Census Extract
Alberry Johnson household

Name Age Sex Occ. Real est. Per. Est. = Place of Birth

Alberry JOHNSON 36 m potter 500 500 = S.C.
Sarah 34 f = N.C.
Mary (Mary Cade) 10 f = "
Texana 7 f = Ala
Martha 5 f = "
Harriet 7/12 f = Tex.

Alberry Johnson opened the first Potter's Shop in Limestone Co., Texas, which was eventually run by a son not named in the above census. Mary Johnson married Joseph McKager "Cade" Lewis and named one of her children Georgie Alberry Lewis. Family members state that Mary Johnson Lewis was born in Marion Co., SC, not NC as the census reflects. Martha married a Holmes. Mary and Martha are buried in Old Union Cemetery in Limestone Co., Tx.

Can anybody help me find the ancestry of Alberry Johnson?
