Go to Handbook of TX Online, type in Farrsville, click on search, then click on number one item that comes up. There is your Alfred, and some info on Farrsville. Looks like he was a rich farmer and minister. Go to Newton Co, TX GenWeb site, some GenWeb counties are putting their cemeteries online. Post a query, see if anyone has a published county history, and will check their copy for info on your man. He certainly should be "mentioned" in any Newton Co, TX history.
