Am still struggling with my Walkers. I believe I may have found them on an 1860 census but need something more, anything more, to be sure. If it is them, then Louisa Walker was born about 1847 and could very well have married this Elbert Keigan, could very well have been about 13 years younger than him. My mother, however, remembers the name as Kergan. But my mother was a child then & only heard the name, never saw it written--plus she only remembers the aunt, & likely never met the aunt's husband--likely he was dead by the 1920s.

Will certainly let you know if I learn anything more. Thanks for responding.
