Have you tried Taylor Co, TX GenWeb site? Post a query, ask if anyone has copy of a published county history, and will they check it for information on your family. I would think there would be something in a county history on a medical college in the county.

You might try GenWeb site for all of the counties you have listed. A lady doctor should show up in some kind of history. I am wondering if they needed to to "licensed" during that time period, or if they just practiced medicine(?)

Some GenWeb counties are putting their cemeteries online, and some are getting other records online, too.
