Joan,

Sorry about that! C.D. was born July 24, 1834 and died October 27, 1909. His wife, Marietta Comstock Reasor was born August 5, 1835 and died May 18, 1923. He and his wife & family moved to the Sherman/Denison/Red River area (by way of Missouri) in the late 1870's or early 1880's. They had five children.

Elmer E. Reasor b. Jan. 7, 1861 d. Jul 22, 1882. George Byron Reasor b. April 20, 1872 d. Feb. 17, 1937. (Children of George are Bennie Scott, Jewel May, Vitna Louisa, Georgia Byron and Glen Clay.)

C.D., Marietta, Elmer, George Byron & his wife Vitna, their son Ben and his wife Mabel are all buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Denison.

C.D.'s son John Comstock b. April 6, 1867 d. Dec. 28, 1934. His wife was Mary E. Morrell b. Oct. 9, 1869 d. Mar. 15, 1959. They are my ggrandparents and are buried in the Christine City Cemetery.

C.D.'s son Edgar married Eugenia E. Looney on Nov. 11, 1892 in Grayson County. Their daughter, Ellie, married Jim Ball. I have no other info on Ellie, but my aunt is a direct decendent of the Looney's of Grayson County. So we have two Reasor - Looney marriages in the family.

Sorry this is so long! Any info appreciated!

Linda Sue Reasor
