Do you know in which county Bill was living when he died? I would post a query on that GenWeb county site. Find out if there is a published county history, for sure he would be in it. And, if he is written up, maybe some of his family line is mentioned, too. Post a query, see if anyone has a copy of published county history, and will check their copy for Bill and his family. Of course, Bill's line would be the same as your Walter's.
