Seeking information on Solomon Griffin. The only information that I have at this time is that he married Claryssa Hays 21 Jul 1823, in St. Francois Co., Mo. Together they had 1 daughter, Tabitha Ann Griffin, in 1824. Sometime between 1824 and 1826 Solomon Griffin died. Claryssa and Tabitha were granted his land in Austin's Colony in Texas, according to the General Land Office Records in Texas.
Tabitha married my ggggrandfather, Abraham Baker Sr.
(Claryssa had remarried after Solomon's death, she married John Andrews Jr., together they had several children, and raised Tabitha.)
