You say you have the CSA records for Eurastus, and there is a physician's death statement? You said he died in 1929, why is there a physician's death statement in his CSA record? Unless he was receiving a pension, and that statement concerned the fact he wouldn't be receivig the pension any longer. I think you should look at the record you have, and read everything again. If he was receiving a pension, his widow should have received it after his death. If she died just 4 months later, maybe she didn't get an application filed. Did her children/heirs file for the four months she should have received the pension?

You mention Kenedy, is that the town in Karnes Co, TX, or the county of Kenedy? I would go to the GenWeb site for the correct county, some GenWeb counties are putting their cemeteries online. If you don't find cemeteries listed, then post a query and see if anyone knows about the Mission Burial Park.
