Have you looked at 1900 federal census for TX? Darriel would have been 12 and still at home in his father's household. Then follow up with with 1910 & 1920. If you know the county in which Darriel died, you can obtain a death certificate for him. I put Erie Cain in SSDI and did not find a match with death date you show for her. Nor in TX Dth Indx Online.

If you know the county, post queries on the GenForum and GenWeb sites for the county. Some GenWeb counties are putting their cemeteries online.
