Seeking info on gggg grandfather James Walker, m. Catherine Miller. One of their children (Lucretia Walker, b. 23 Dec 1789 in Wayne Co., KY) was my ggg grandmother, m. Silas Bell 31 Aug 1811 in Wayne Co., KY. Silas and Lucretia filed for divorce in 1826 and Silas got custody of all 6 children. In 1834, Lucretia moved to Texas with her parents (James Walker & Catherine Miller Walker). Lucretia m. 4 times; i.e., to Silas Bell, to Elias Gilpin, to a Vandever and to a Brooks. Her 2nd husband, Elias Gilpin obtained a land grant in what is now Fayette Co. After his death, Lucretia sold most of this land and gave the rest to her son, James Carrell Bell, my ggg grandfather. She died ca 1860 in Fayette Co. I suspect that Lucretia's parents may have also died in Fayette Co., or at least in that general area. I am trying to determine when and where they died, when and where they were born, the names of their (James Walker's and Catherine Miller's) parents, names of siblings, etc., etc. All info and suggestions will be appreciated.
