As far as I know my line of Halls were never in KY or IL so don't think Felix is man you found in census. However, there is another Hall family in that area that I have not been able to connect to my line. Hall county TX was names after Warran D.C. Hall. Also, there were some Hall cattle buying operations in the area but don't know if they connect with Warren D.C. but have not been able to connect them to my line. We moved from NC in about 1800 to TN, To MS and on into TX by 1835/6. Felix had a brother P.T. Hall which is my great grandfather b 1827 in MS. He also had a brother HMC Hall born in 1839 as I recall in TX. HMC was son of TX Ranger HMC Hall killed by Indians in Battle at Birds Creek near Temple, TX. Thanks for trying, Dave
