Dear Sloan, Jules Simon Bourgeois appears on the 1850 federal census for Medina County. His name also appears on a list of persons who recieved land certificatrs as colonists ( Nov. 2, 1850 ). There was no listing in the available ship lists, 1860 census ( Medina County ) or voter registeration list for voting after the Civil War. If you could provide additional information that might give me some idea of when and where he was, I would have a better idea where to look.
