In checking out the Cochise co AZ genweb pages I found a school district census which included these names for Neel
School Dist #44:
Fred Sparks, Ernest Sparks, John Sparks and Sarah Sparks. Parents are shown as J.P. and S.E. Emery, except for Sarah and it doesn't show the first initials of the parents, just the last name of Emery...but her last name is Sparks. Here's the link: http://www.mycochise.com/schneel44.php. If you go to the home page and look through "genealogy" at school census it will tell you how you can request to look at the original census which may give you more info such as ages. One thing that is confusing to me is the dates that are listed on the school pages. They range from 1912-1915. John Sparks (son of David and Sarah Sparks, listed in 1880 census) should be in his 30's by then. I must not be understanding something. Maybe you can get ahold of the original and make more sense out of it.

I noticed on the 1910 census that it indicates James P Emry and Sarah have been married about 5 years, which would put their marriage about 1905 and wouldn't you know it, that time frame is not available on the marriage index.

Their are several other "Sparks" and "Emery's" in the Cochise county pages. http://www.mycochise.com/ Maybe you will recognize some other names.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck in your search,
Ginger
