Hello,

Since my last post, I have a little more info to add. Sallie or Sarah Smith may have married Jerry Moore on June 22, 1882, Rebecca Smith may have married a Robert L. Simmons on December 18, 1889, Dolcie may have been called Theodocia Smith and married a J.W. Thomas, December 24, 1889. Littleton married his wife Martha Frances Chapman in Houston County, TX. The three daughters and some other siblings were also born in Houston Co. He did come to TX from SC in approximately 1840 with his Mother, Eve Smith. At some point before or after leaving SC his mother married John Wallace. Eve and John had three children, George Wallace born in MS in 1847, Mary A. Wallace born April 1849 in TX and died bet. 1920 and 1930 in TX, Sarah Jance Wallace, born 04 Oct 1851; died 12 Mar 1939 in McLennan Co., TX. One of the these girls married a Smitherman. If you have any info on this family, please contact me: Linda Travaglio at Krazymikie@cox.net.
