Searching for Matt Davis and his children in the Moody and Waco areas of Texas sometime between 1880 and 1900. Time frame could be longer than listed. Information that they lived in Moody and outside of Waco came from a letter written by Matt's daughter, Georgia Ann.
I have info on Georgia Ann, b. Sep 1882, and her husband, John H. Tillinghast, and their descendants. She was placed in the home of John T. Crawford in Hamilton Co., TX, after her mother died in childbirth after Elizabeth was born. Georgia was about 8 or 10 years old at the time she went to live with the Crawfords.
I'd like to find any information for her siblings and parents. I don't know the name of her mother at all and I don't know who the other siblings married, etc. All I know is that both parents were supposed to have been born in TX and so were the children.
Any help with this family would be appreciated. I will gladly share my data.
