AMIS FAMILY in Milburn, TX mid-1860's

I'm looking for any kind of information on the Amis family who lived in Milburn, McCulloch Co., TX.
John Rankin Amis and wife Amanda Avis (Mulkey) Amis had their first born, William Alvin Amis 26 Sept. 1886 in Milburn.
These people were my husband's grandparents.

Also, Amanda Avis (Mulkey) Amis was a daughter of William Ross Mulkey and Margaret Rebecca (Hudson) Mulkey who may also have lived in McCulloch Co., TX
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
