You didn't give any dates, or approximate dates, in your query. Wood is pretty common, but I tried census records anyway. In 1920 Herbert and Harriet no children listed, living next door to Thomas and Mellisa Wood, probably his parents. In 1930 Herbert and Harriett still no children and by now they are 40 and 39, so probably didn't have any children.

TX Dth Idx 1890-1976 -- http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?..#w=;p=2;c=1320964;t=searchable -- You can view digitized copy of original death record for more details, and look up any of those Woods from Live Oak Cemetery that fall in that time period.

Herbert Leonard Wood, b 21 Nov 1889, Brady, TX; d 25 Jan 1973, Brady, McCulloch Co, TX; married; buried Live Oak Cemetery; father Thomas Wood; mother Melcinia Davis; informant Mrs. Harriet Wood, wife.

If you go to the 1900 census you'll find:

T.J.
M.V.
Dimmitt J.
Arthur C.
Claud T.
Herbert L.
Ruth A.
Ruby V.

Might give you a clue who belongs to whom in the cemetery.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
