Janice, thank you, thank you, thank you!! This is exciting to me since I didn't have much of anything to go on before! My mother, Martha Marie, must have been named after her grandmother....and I remember my mother talking of Aunt Almira but didn't until I saw the name! Didn't know there was twins in the family either!! I don't know a marriage date but the oldest son was born Aug. 21, 1904 named Curtis A. Barker and nicknamed "Boss" so the marriage must have been prior to that. Guess what? I am a Green Thumb worker at the library in Marshfield, Mo. and I really appreciate hearing from you!! Thanks!!
