There is no one left in Mason that can remember Dr. Thompson. His license show that he came to Mason in 1908. He came from Bell County TX. I know that he was here through 1918 because he delivered my oldest sister in September of that year. My sister married into the Moneyhon family and knew that the John Moneyhons had some connection to the Thompsons. Arribel the only daughter of John Moneyhon, who lives in Austin remembers this: Her mother, Beulah Dabbs married John Moneyhon. Beulah's mother was a half sister of Mrs. Dr. Greer. Dr. Thompson's wife was the daugther of Dr. & Mrs. Greer. The Thompson's had a son John Milton, and 2 daughters one's name was Blanch
These people where Christiandelphians and she remembers camping out with these families in the summer. The last contact was many years ago in San Angelo at one of these meetings she saw Blanch.
