Hello again....some time ago I received some photos taken by a Walker cousin, now deceased, of the Cavness Cemetery in Mason Co., Texas. These folks were kin to my Walkers and Doyles of Mason. The oldest stone is narrow and pointed at the top,sadly I cannot make out the dates, but it is the grave of Robert Cavness..it looks as though he was born in Oct. and died in June.

Please contact me and I will give you the rest of the stone imformation....the Walkers and Doyles were in Arkansas, Alabama, and Louisiana before coming to Texas ca 1840.

The Walkers were in Benton, Ark. yours, Joan.
