What early school records for Marion Cty

Am wondering if there are any c 1858-1865 Marion County school records and records of employees still around?
Am looking for record on NELSON EDWARDS, a schoolmaster who came to Marion County in or shortly after 1856. He died there between 1860-1865 and is buried in Marion County. His wife, Naoma HARRISON ORME EDWARDS accompanied him. They came to Jefferson from Carroll County MS.

Naoma's children by Jeremiah Brisco ORMES and Naoma's and Nelson's infant daughter, FLORENCE EDWARDS lived in their household in Marion County. Other children included, MARY ELIZABETH ORME/ARMS, b. 1844 in AL, JAMES EMERSON ORME/ARMS, b. c. 1847 AL, WILLIAM ORME/ARMS, b. c. 1849 AL, and TILMAN BASIL ORMES, b. c. 1852, AL.
