Hi Fellow Researchers,
I am searching for any info on the parents of my paternal ggrandfather, John Thomas Miller b. 18 Feb 1871 in Madisonville, Madison Co., Texas. and info on John Thomas himself. I know that John T. had an aversion to census takers and used to run them off with a shotgun (told to me by his son, my grandfather, James Jefferson Miller.) I hope his parents weren't of the same inclination. :-)
John T. married Pearsie Susan Simmons 12 July 1895 possibly in Montgomery Co.,Texas. They had four children: Emma (place of birth unknown), James Jefferson "Jeff" b. Montgomery Co. in 1899, Martha Arsulia "Sulie" unknown place of birth 1901, Josephine Addie "Justine" b. 1904 in Groveton, Trinity Co., Texas. John T. died 3 Sept 1905 somewhere in Texas. He, Pearsie, Emma & Sulie are all buried at Morgan Cemetery, Splendora, Montgomery Co., Texas. Does anyone know of this family?
Please contact me. Thanks for your help. Lillian
