I have a copy of a page from the 1900 Llano County census that list the following Deats family living next to my Duncan ancestors. Census taken 9 day of June 1900.

Deats, Lewis June 1842 age 52* born in Texas Father:germany
wife Mary June 1845 age 55* born in Miss Father: Miss

(*ages don't match with the dob and year census was taken and the census is readable. They were 13 children with 12 surviving according to census)


daughter Emma Dec 1875 age 24 TX
son Rufus Jun 1880 age 19 TX
son Marcus Feb 1882 age 18 TX
son Arthur Oct 1883 age 16 TX
daughter DYSIE AUG 1885 AGE 14 TX
daughter Ella Feb 1888 age 12
