Ryan, I have much on the Cowan Family and a little on Tow Valley. Have you seen the book "Llano: Gem of the Hill Country; a History of Llano County, Texas" by Wilburn Osborn? There is a bit on Tow Valley and David and Ruth Cowan. I'm actually researching Nobles but the Cowans were married to some Nobles and are mentioned in the Nobles and Thorp family Bibles. I have those records. I would be very interested to know more about the Saltworks.
