Sam Lowry 1870 Llano County

I know this is a long shot, but I am searching for a Sam Lowry/Lowrey/Lowire/Lowery born between 1800-1848 in possibly Arkansas. He is listed on his daughter's death certificate but his birth place was unreadable-it was either Ark or Unk. Sam had one know child: Susan Ella who was born 1858 and according to the various census I have located her on, she was born in SC. Susan Ella married Richard Bishop (Dick) about 1871 in probably San Saba or Llano County TX, but do not know if her father was still alive at that time. Susan and Dick moved to OK about 1890 and their children are listed on the various marriage records for Chickasaw Territory. They are later listed on the various census records for Elmore, Garvin County, OK. Any help or suggestions would be helpful! Thanks.
